I’m a 79 year old lady learning how to golf, this book is helpful in remembering and seeing exactly what the instructor is talking about.Pretty clear explanations, although some are obtuse due to the way the rules are written. They assume you know something about the rules and jargon already, not a lot, but something. Not every last thing is explained. There are fun sidebars where they describe how a rule or rules were used in perhaps a bizarre situation, like Tiger Woods' ball bouncing on the sidewalk, over a building, into a cup on a groundskeeper's cart, which he then drove away with. Also fun photos, like Fred Couples in a tree. The book is much too large to take with you in your bag, so you need to look for a pocket edition if you want to do that. Otherwise well done and up to date as of now, I believe. Don't quote me.The book is an outdated version of the rules of golf. A waste of my money.Good book to try to understand the application of the rules. I think it could have covered a few more situations, but did well on the situations it did cover.I've played golf for many years and always have kept up with the Rules. The book I had expired in 2015, there I decided to buy this one. I've enjoyed reading it and highly recommend it.
